The Polywogs presented each of their 6 local charities with a check in the amount of $18,500.00 on May 9, with a friendly get together at Freedom Bank in St. Petersburg. Thanks go to Andy Williams and Freedom Bank for hosting this affair.

President Mark Chmielewski awarded the checks to St. Petersburg Free Clinic, Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital, Children's Dream Fund, The First Tee of St. Petersburg, R'Club, and Ready for Life. The recipients were so grateful and one of them noted that the first check received from the Polywogs years ago was $2500. It is a tribute to the members and leaders of the organization how their generosity has grown.

NEW MEMBER APPLICATION

NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR NEW MEMBERS-The membership committee is NOW accepting new member applications for the Polywogs. We cap our membership at 125 members. We anticipate having 5 to 10 openings this year. Besides the normal ringer or two, we are looking for leaders who have a long history of supporting our community. It's important to attract those who not only have a passion for golf but also help us in our mission to support our community through our charitable efforts. We have raised our game quite a bit over the last few years and fully expect to continue growing in the future. This has come because of the foundation built by our long term members as well as from the fresh ideas and support of our new members.

Application Link Here. Deadline for application: OCTOBER 1
